I would love to volunteer, what’s the process?
Thank you for considering being a volunteer, the dogs love our “Aunts & Uncles”. We have both onsite and offsite volunteers from around the globe. Please complete the Volunteer form, found on the Volunteer page.
Can I do a fundraiser for Monkey’s House?
We love it when our supporters hold fundraisers in support of the pups. We’ve had many fundraisers: birthdays, weddings, memorials, etc. Please reach out via our contact page to discuss.

Do you participate in company matching gift programs?
Yes, many supporters donate through their company's Matching Gift program. Select “Monkey House An Animal Sanctuary Inc” when choosing the charity.
Do you take dog food donations?
No, we appreciate donations in many forms, however, food is not one of them. Our dogs are on specific food regimens based on their health conditions. We follow the “fresh ” feeding methodology – their meals are raw or gently cooked meats/fish.
My dog passed and I still have their medications, can you use them?
Yes, non-expired medications are greatly appreciated. We have a full pharmacy as our dogs have a wide range of medical conditions. Please send them to: Monkey’s House PO Box 2332 Vincentown, NJ 08088
We are no longer able to care for our dog, will you take him?
Monkey’s House does not accept dogs from individuals. We have a network of shelters and rescues that reach out to us daily seeking placement into our home. Sadly, there is not enough space for all the hospice dogs surrendered to shelters.
Can I adopt a Monkey’s House dog?
No, all our dogs are in palliative or hospice care, and in need of specific care and diets. They live out the remainder of their lives in the loving care of Monkey’s House.
Can you give me advice on my dog’s medical condition?
We recommend you follow Monkey’s House on Facebook, our main social media platform, as well as our weekly blog here on our website. There is a lot of advice given on various medical ailments and food therapy.
Please note: we are not veterinarians; our advice comes from years of caring for 100’s of dogs.

We are located in Southampton, New Jersey.
Can we visit the dogs of Monkey’s House?
For the well-being of our dogs, we do not allow visitors. Maintaining tranquility and a familiar environment is critical. Additionally, our insurance does not cover visitors.
How do I start a dog sanctuary like Monkey’s House?
For those inspired to start a dog hospice like Monkey’s House, congratulations. Success depends on your Passion, Dedication, and Commitment.
Be aware, that life as you know it today will be gone. However, your new life will be fulfilling and rewarding. Not much sleep at times, but surely filled with love.
We recommend you foster dogs for a while before starting your mission. A few things to keep in mind:
